Woe will come to the king who would listen not to the satire. For he has not learned humility or to see his own acts and words as others.
But only death will come to a folk who hear a fool and name him satire. For they will watch their kind die and fade and call it life and good.
Spare the pity for those who hold the fool in such high regard. For so easily will they throw their own to flame and dust so the fool will dance and speak anew, that they should never be trusted or valued with another.
So ends the folk who see themselves as wise.
